Company Background
Legal Audio is the forensic services division of Audio Paint, Ltd., a New York multimedia production company. Audio Paint, founded in 1995 is a company of dedicated recording engineers and technicians working together to solve problems and provide professional, audio and video services. Legal Audio was founded in 2000 by President Frank Piazza.

Many of the skills and resources contributing to Audio Paint's media prowess also contribute to Legal Audio's success providing multimedia services to the legal profession. These include a cutting edge Manhattan studio, technologically advanced software, and on- and off-site recording and editing. Legal Audio also benefits from Audio Paint's broad competence in mixing, transfers, analog to digital conversion, CD and DVD authoring and duplication, and video production.

Audio Paint creates and produces audio-video content for television, radio, film, and the Internet, as well as for publishers, performers, recording and corporate companies. You'll find Audio Paint's work on television networks, cable networks, radio broadcasts and on many web-based media sites.

Frank Piazza Bio
Since attending the Berklee College of Music from 1980-1982, Frank Piazza has established himself as a professional, recording studio engineer and producer for notable clients throughout the publishing, entertainment and broadcast industry. In 2000 he became the President of Legal Audio located in New York City.

Mr. Piazza is a court-qualified expert in audio and video enhancement, digitization, authentication and analysis. As a forensic audio and video professional he has participated in numerous trials and investigations and has provided testimony in courts throughout the United States. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, American Guild of Court Videographers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the New York State Criminal Defense Lawyers.

High-profile cases where he has participated in include U.S. v Al Moayad, the first terrorism case brought to trial in the United States and U.S. v ElGindy, a white-collar criminal case involving securities and stock fraud. He has also been named as an expert on many civil cases as well.

In addition to being personally involved in all cases, he oversees all equipment maintenance and purchases of Legal Audio's digital, state-of-the-art, forensic studio laboratory and consults and advises clients on their playback systems for review and trial presentation.
